Position Summary
This position is expected create various reports, decks, slides for reports etc to leadership team. He/She will be expected to perform analytics on data received from various functions, do reporting and governance activities, dashboarding and small utility tool development using VBA/power Query, PowerPivot, Power BI, advanced Excel along with any other adhoc work that comes across. Job Responsibilities
- Follow-up with various stakeholders, asking the right questions to ensure governance on agreed methodology.
- Gather data from various functional SPOCs for data analysis and dashboard creation for organizational reporting such as CXO pack, MOR, FMG reporting etc
- Should be proficient in excel & word. i.e. using formulas & functions
- Highly proficient at PowerPoint including, i.e. visualization & data representation based on audience/content; formatting content in the form of a storyline, etc.
- Basic understanding of Power BI & Macros
- Understanding of how data is related (including the interaction between metrics) & database is created
- Good understanding of performance attributes i.e TAT, Quality, productivity, efficiency and effectiveness
- Strong communication skills. Communicate and presentation both verbal and written – complex data and evaluation insights clearly and concisely
- Documentation & SOP creation.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in any stream
Experience
- 5 to 6 years of overall experience with 2-3 years in core MIS & reporting & governance experience in an insurance company
- 2-3 years experience in Business Analysis and reporting role with extensive use of Advanced Excel, VBA macros and Power Query/PowerBI
- Prior experience in automation projects in plus
Knowledge and skills (general and technical)
- Excellent communication skills, Communicate and presentation – both verbal and written
- Ability to break complex data and evaluation insights clearly and concisely
- PowerPoint presentation skills
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Ability to establish priorities and handle multiple assignments concurrently with minimal direction in an evolving, fast paced work environment
- Self-disciplined, Self-Initiating and result oriented
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with various levels, including understanding, documenting complex ideas and requirements into actionable steps.

- Preferred Agile certified / Prince 2
