You would be responsible for managing and motivating a team of Data, BI Insights developers and play an important role in the design and delivery of data warehousing solutions with our stakeholders, across spectrum of areas including Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Data Integration, Data Migration, Business Intelligence and Insights for multiple short, mid and long term projects. With access to various technologies including; Azure Data Platform, Power BI, Report Builder, QlikView, Qlik sense, MSBI.

Duties Responsibilities
- Undertake project lead role for projects related to Azure Data Analytics products (Azure SQL DB, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Active Directory, Azure Synapse, etc.)
- Build and maintain ETLs, pipelines and automations to act on business performance accurately, scalable, with low latency, and minimal manual upkeep
- Ensure data quality by monitoring performance, diagnosing issues, and creating solutions
- Proven experience in delivering best data solutions using Azure cloud and hybrid infrastructure.
- Experience in dealing with large data sets, has experience with data visualization, and is passionate about Data, Insights and Analytics.
- Define, instrument, and maintain new and existing business KPIs, leveraging Azure data platform and beyond
- Using relevant infrastructure should be able to secure, source and sink data from various APIs (OData, OAuth2), flat files, etc. sources.
- Work with various teams viz; Cloud CoE, Infrastructure support, Security, Data Privacy, Enterprise Architects for designing and delivery of data solutions.
- Carry out Release and Deployment using CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Design and develop proof of concepts and deliver client demonstrations.
- Good experience in managing and motivating core Data Solutions Analytics developers. Be responsible for teams engagement and learning needs.
- Prior experience of working on multiple core Data BI Solution: Azure Data Platform, Power BI, Report Builder, QlikView, MSBI as Technical Lead.
- Stakeholder management and interpersonal skills with business/technical focused stakeholders.
- Consulting stakeholders on getting more from their data and build insights dashboards using various visualisation tools
- Knowledge to implement various data, forecasting and statistical analysis components using tools like Python, Azure Analytics components
General Responsibilities
- Develop Data Solution and BI Insights skills within the team through knowledge sharing sessions, articles, etc.
- Participate in MG Global Services Pvt. Ltd. community event, Management Open House, etc.
- Adherence to organisations Risk Controls requirements
- Support new joiners in the team whilst they get settled in the organisation through Buddy program
Qualification
- Preferably should have Technical/Science Graduation degree with specialization in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering or related discipline
- MBA desirable
- Project management using Agile methodology
- Data and Business Intelligence certification would be an add on
Experience
- At least 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in Data, BI, Insights, Analytics
- A high level of drive with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Experience of providing insightful solutions throughout the business.
- The ability to participate effectively in meetings with senior stakeholders.
- A team player who supports, encourages and shares knowledge with others.
- A self-starter with the ability to work under pressure and with limited supervision.

- The ability to work as part of an integrated team or on an individual basis.
Required Competence / Knowledge / Skills (Mandatory)
- 3+ years of experience as a Sr. Data engineer with hands-on programming experience in Data Solutions and BI development
- Strong technical background in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databrick, Azure SQL DB, Azure Synapse, Azure Release Deployment.
- Experience of the Microsoft SQL Server BI stack, including T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS.
- Troubleshooting and optimising databases and queries
- Maintaining and programming in Power BI, Report Builder, MSBI
- Power BI Dashboard solutions – develop, maintain and support multiple engagements
- Demonstrable, strong leadership skills with experience of leading a high performing team.
- Ability to analyse options to best determine solutions to set direction for team.
- Experience in planning, business development and business case creation
- Successful track record of project delivery involving business process and change
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills
- Previous experience of management in a fast-paced environment, working with large volumes of data

- Knowledge and exposure to Regulatory processes like Information Security, Data Protection, etc.)
- Onshore/Client site working experience
