How could you help us do this?

The Workforce Planning Analyst will act as an internal consultant to HR leadership, Business leaders, HR Business Partners, Finance Business Partners, and other key stakeholders regarding the implications of workforce analytics & insights. The team helps the business leaders to define and understand strategic objectives and develop meaningful and actionable workforce plans and metrics to drive workforce decisions.
Act as a thought partner for the recruiting team by building awareness of how analytics can help throughout the talent acquisition process. Translate business problems into analytical questions that you will scope, define variable terms, build and execute an analysis plan, and report findings.


What kind of work would you be doing?

  • Lead the process of developing workforce plans aligned to business or function needs.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of statistical/financial models to evaluate workforce metrics and develop recommendations.
  • Monitor business progress against the execution of workforce plans and ensures plans are aligned with corporate principles.
  • Apply deep subject matter expertise in internal workforce trends to evaluate workforce plans, identify gaps, and propose solutions to HR and business management.
  • Deliver data driven insights through development of data driven models.
  • Collaborate with management across the company (business, HR, finance, etc) in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of workforce plans.


Analyse complex business problems using data from internal and external sources to communicate insights to decision-makers

  • Consult with key stakeholders to identify the desired outcome they are trying to drive with data, then advise them on the best methods to reach the outcome
  • Create specifications for analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements
  • Identify patterns and insights from people data to help optimize decision making


Drive Automation, Data Governance, and Quality of Insights

  • You will work to automate your ongoing work via core Workday and analytical tools to provide greater capacity for advising and project work
  • Create standard and repeatable work via Workday and analytical tools to automate as much data insight reporting as possible
  • Ensure data quality through documenting field and filter usage and following standard guidelines
  • Establish quality assurance of delivered insights and design testing techniques to ensure accurate results are delivered across the business at scale


Education and Experience Required:

First level university degree; advanced university degree in business preferred. Human Resources background preferred.


Typically, 5-6 years’ experience in HR data analytics
, a workforce planning role is a plus.


Knowledge and Skills:

Superior data analytical skills and strong modeling capabilities, including advanced expertise in data analysis and interpretation.

Superior business and financial acumen.

Workday exposure is an added advantage

Advanced communications (written/verbal), presentation, and facilitation skills.

Ability to not only manage at an operational level but also think strategically.
