JR33886 Supply Chain Analyst ( INTERN )

Describe the function of the role and how it fit s into your department?
In this function Material Planning intern will develop a POC (Proof of Concept) model to rank criticalness of the raw material โs shortage .
The GSM VSM intern interfaces activ el y with various teams in Micron, including teams from Global Supply Management – GSM (Tactical and Supply Chain Planning), Order Management (Customer Sales Support & Order Fulfillments) , Sales Business Units, Marketing, Demand Management, Supply Plannin g .

What are your expectations for the position?
To be a GSM team member, candidates should have an eye to spot what customer wants, fulfil those customer requirements in time and in budget. Build accurate forecast models and analyze various factors and what-ifs scenarios . Candidate should be a practical person, willing to learn new tools, should be high-on-energy, innovative, creative, humble, persistent and can pick the right tool for problem solving (or root cause analysis) effectively.
This position is being offered in GSM team (Hyderabad)
Responsibilities and Duties include, but not limited to:

Broad knowledge and experience in: lean methodologies , process mapping, Value Stream Mapping, inventory management, theory of constraints , supply chain management and industrial engineering

Above average skills in: data handling, data extraction and analytics. Data visualization skills (Excel, tableau or power BI) will be plus . Exposure to SAP/SQL is desired

Demonstrated ability to: handle data, analyze it and visualize it.

Experience in: data handling, data extraction and analytics.
Qualifications :
CGPA: 7 + /10
Qualification: B E/ B.Tech MTech/MSC/Dual PHD MBA/PGDBM
Specializations: Operations/Supply Chain/Logistics
