JR15034 2022 Intern – Data Engineer, Smart MFG & AI
As a Data Engineer at Micron Technology Inc., you are a key member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing and growing Micron’s methods and systems for extracting new insight for our expanding data streams. You will collaborate with various roles and teams across the enterprise to design and implement systems to extract data from Micron’s manufacturing, R&D and engineering systems, transforming it into an actionable format, and as needed, creating dynamic presentation layers for use by high-level engineers and managers throughout the company.
Required board knowledge and skills:
- Computer Science or related fields (Information Engineering, Information Management, Data engineering, Software Engineering)
- Familiar with Big Data development tools and skills is better (Python, Spark, SQL, NiFi, Cloud services)
- Want to engage in Big Data development related work in future
Internship Object:
- Blueprint and build flexible ETL solution to support GDML migration on HDP Retirement project
- Become a subject matter expert in global data engineering solutions and architecture
Content/Project of internship:
- GDML, GCP and data domain training
- Participate solution design on HDP Retirement project
- Migration GDML solution to support GCP migration
