JR18745 OCT ADS Business Intelligence Engineer
Responsibilities Include
· Develops, deploy, and support business intelligence solutions to Micron’s global network of manufacturing facilities.
· Design and work on backend architecture using efficient ETL and data warehousing techniques.
· Build, improve, and support reports and dashboards using Power BI.
· Build solutions on any of the programming languages – C#, Java, C or on Angular.
· Work with other teammates to understand internal customer reporting needs.
Qualifications
· 5+ years of experience developing business intelligence, data engineering, or related solutions.
· Experience in designing and delivering best-in-class Power BI dashboards and reports.
· Experience in Writing TSQL (DDL, DML AND DCL), developing/creating new database objects such as Tables, Views, Indexes, Complex stored procedures, function(UDF), cursors, and triggers, common table expressions (CTEs) and SQL Server Agent profiler using SQLSERVER
· Performance Tuning in SQL Server – Using SQL Profiler
· DBCC commands, Partitions & Partitioning, Bulk Loading Data (BCP), Indexed Views & Schema Binding, Clustered/Non-Clustered Indexes.
· Knowledge in dealing with RDBMS including E/R Diagrams, Normalization, Constraints, Joins, Keys and Data Import/Export.
· Proficient in Extraction Transformation and Loading (ETL) process by pulling large volumes of data from various data sources
· Strong experience in Creating, Designing and Processing a Tabular/Multi-Dimensional Analysis Cubes
· Ability to communicate effectively with global internal customers
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field of study
Preferred Experience
· Experience developing data marts, including extract, transform, and load processes for data.
· Experience creating visualizations using Tableau or Power BI
· Worked on any of the programming languages – C#, Java, C or on Angular.
· Experience building and organizing views using any Data Virtualization tool
