Job Responsibilities
The Customer Order Management team at Micron is looking for a dynamic and motivated individual for the role of the OM Ops Specialist. The role is an opportunity to utilize his/her analytical, business and process/project management skills to help bring about change in Microns Order Management customer experience. This is a highly dynamic position which focuses changes to systems/technology, processes, and business practices.
In this exciting role:
- Help to define and drive requests for changes from business users
- Identify and manage dependencies within project efforts
- Help to define and drive analytics and reporting to highlight areas for improvement
- Support training efforts: Provide input, on document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs.
- Support and engage senior leaders when necessary
- Coordinate efforts with SMEs (Subject Matter Experts)
- Assist in evaluating and ensure user readiness
- Assist in ensuring testing and acceptance within projects and programs is achieved
- Manage stakeholders
- Track and report issues
- Assist in defining and measuring success metrics
- You will play an active role in the overall Order Management Transformation assisting in Order Management related activities including in UAT (User-Acceptance Testing), validating & analyzing data, working with IT on system issues and ensure resolutions are obtained, conducting training to cross-functional teams etc.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of process improvement experience in order management.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills – more than identifying/reporting an issue you will use appropriate knowledge to look for the root cause, use tools like value stream mapping and methods to seek solutions.
- A high level of amenity in working with numbers with advance data analytics knowledge and skills
- The ability to think strategically and execute tactically, persistent attention to detail, and ability to maintain composures under compressed or stressful timelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication as well as presentation and PowerPoint skills
- Shown ability to work effectively in a team environment with multi-functional teams and possesses excellent interpersonal skills
Education
- Bachelors in the field of Industrial Engineering, analytics or Supply Chain/Operations is must
- Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or supply chain is preferred.
- APICS Certified will be an added advantage
Shift: 9 AM – 6 PM ( we may need to discuss shift to ensure alignment with Boise time zone initially for onboarding.
