Job Location: Hyderabad/Secunderabad
As a Business Intelligence Senior Engineer in the Global Supply Chain (GSC) Solutions team,
you are responsible for creating and delivering data reporting solutions and visualizations that are consumed by a wide audience including business leaders, business analysts & planners, suppliers and customers.
You will serve as a thought leader in the team. You will work with business partners to define system requirements (such as requirements for interface design to support a global user base) and coordinating with the Information Technology (IT) department as needed.
• Analyze and define technical requirements of the development backlog leveraging user story (requirements) and acceptance criteria.
• Design and deliver Reporting and Analytic solutions using Microsoft SQL Server Business Intelligence tools, SAP Hana/Business Objects and/or Tableau.
• Complete unit testing, present code review, document solution delivery and coordinate deployment.
• Collaborate with business team members and BI Analyst to ensure that the solution is meeting the business needs.
• Manage technical debt with a focus on limiting unnecessary support escalations due to design.
• Identify low performing solutions (existing) and design optimal solution delivery based on impact and value.
• Facilitate technical code reviews and approve code for deployment to production.
• Explore new technologies and system capabilities to improve business value, data quality and performance.
• Resolve operational issues and ensure stability of the reporting environment to the business.
• Drive effective agile project management through active engagement in the scrum development process.
• Provide hands on demonstration of the solution and provide technical support to business team members during testing and deployment phase.
• Work with teams to deliver effective, high-value reporting solutions by leveraging an established delivery methodology.
