CSCP supports over 200 online businesses including Bing, O365, OneDrive, Xbox and Windows Azure branded services.
Cloud Manufacturing Operations and Fulfillment (CMOF) organization within CSCP manages Business Operations performance and supply of hardware for the data centers. Well-defined and executed sourcing and supply chain management ensures reliable on-time performance, optimized cost, prevents urgent and unplanned investments, and provides accurate and timely information across the supply base and internally across the infrastructure organization. The role of Operations Program Manager in the Procurement Operations group within CMOF will be primarily responsible for performing data analytics for business insights and Power BI reporting. They will partner with individual procurement teams to assess the areas of needs, gather data to support hypothesis, and develop solutions to address the areas of need.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing analytical solutions that provide visibility into key performance metrics and insights that help procurement teams take informed business decisions. Additional responsibilities include:
- Partner with multiple teams within Procurement; Materials Master, Hardware Procurement, and Cloud Controls and Procurement Execution to deliver reporting and other solutions to support procurement operations
- Collect requirements, identify relevant data sources, refine data, build frameworks and models that are sustainable and can be leveraged for future projects
- Manage and design the reporting environment, evaluate changes and updates to source systems, and troubleshoot the developed solutions
- Analyze complex data sets and build reports and dashboards that help identify trends and opportunities to reduce purchase order cycle time, increase first pass yield, and reduce overall manual effort for Procurement Operations and partner teams
- Provide technical expertise in data storage, data mining, access management, and utilization of analytical tools. Support initiatives for data integrity and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal engineering partners to support automation projects that advance current procurement processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Engineering, or a related technical degree
- 5+ years’ strong hands-on experience with data analytics and/or in a program/project management role in procurement domain
- Strong leadership skills, growth mindset and experience collaborating with senior team members
- Experience with supply chain analytics and data modeling techniques
- Demonstrable track record of developing metrics to drive business improvements and results
- Distinctive analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to implement and drive continuous improvement
- Proficient with SQL, PowerBI, MS Excel and other business tools such as Word, Power Point and Visio
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to synthesize and report out both verbally and in writing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in supply chain and operations management, preferably in a cloud / high tech supply chain space
- Strong influencing skills and ability to build strong relationships across multiple cross functional teams
- Experience with Procure to Pay / Quote to Cash process and tools
- Ability to operate in a growing, fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- Understanding of computer languages used for data storage and management is a plus
- Lean certification such Green Belt / Black Belt certifications
CLOUD SCREENING REQUIREMENT
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
