Job Description

As MicroStrategy’s Partner Operations Analyst, you will ensure execution of many aspects of partner-related business processes, transactions, and documentation, as well as drive business critical insights using analytics. You will also ensure cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and help teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. You will project manage and lead projects which help reduce costs of doing business and increase operational scale and for both MicroStrategy and its partners by increasing automation, improving efficiencies, streamlining operational processes, and integrating IT systems. You will own and maintain various operations cadence, forecasting, and business reviews, as well as monitoring and improving overall pulse of resell business through sales tools, processes, and metrics, measure performance, and enable partners and sales teams to focus on execution with accuracy.


Your focus:

  • Administer all aspects of MicroStrategy’s Partner Portal
  • Manage all aspects of new Partner Agreements – Support field LD Intake/creation, enforcing contract standards.
  • Manage all aspects of the Partner Benefits Access: (Delivery Education Passes, licensing, Support Liaison, Portal Access, Web Directory listing, etc.)
  • Manage partner deal registration process: deal intake, Approval/Rejection, Assignment
  • Own partner commission fees process: Fee Calculation, Vendor Setup, PO Submission, Monthly Reporting
  • Ensure accurate invoicing and collections of Partner Enrollment Fees
  • Manage SFDC opportunities data hygiene on partner related fields
  • Act on partnership inquiries and routing to appropriate internal MicroStrategy alliances contact.
  • Manage FCPA Compliance Process – COUPA portal administration, configuring and assigning internal & external owners.
  • Manage partner MDF Funding Requests Intake
  • Establish regular interaction and communication with Partners to resolve issues, etc.
  • Identify potential process improvement opportunities and spearhead solutions
  • Single point of contact for all operational issues related to partner transactions
  • Standardize and automate process to provide channel partners with all required reports. Track channel partner progress against business plan metrics
  • Work closely with geographical Partner teams, establish qualitative and quantitative KPIs and Scorecards allowing sales leadership to take a pulse of each performance initiative
  • Track quarterly metrics on general business performance, key metrics, non-standard exceptions, etc. and recommend action items for improvement

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of channel, alliances, or distributor operations experience in the software industry
  • Experience with large data sets and knowledge of SQL, Excel and Salesforce.com
  • Strong understanding of Distribution, Channels, Sales and supporting business functions
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail, experience using reporting and analytics applications preferred
  • Works well under pressure of heavy workload and time constraints
  • Experience leading complex operational/strategic initiatives and large-scale change management.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Business, Finance, IT or Operations)

Big plus:

  • 2+ years of experience in relevant functional areas including project management, IT business/operations systems, and finance management

Additional Information

  • This is a hybrid position – it is necessary to come to the office upon request (Tysons Corner, VA), usually 1/month
