Job Overview:
Based within our Internal CSI Team you will be creative, analytically driven, and collaborative team member to evangelize and accelerate data driven decision across Milestone and the client service we deliver. This role will provide reporting and analysis to support business partners across multiple discplines and geographies.
The role will be a key catalyst for driving data driven operational Analytics within the organization which will place both the Client Service Strategy at the core of our Service Improvement focus. You will successfully build a collection of Analytical Products, including but not limited to automated and interactive tableau dashboards and statistical analysis which will inform and influence decisions. The Data Visualization Analyst (Tableau Visualization) will have a strong focus on data visualization and tableau automation to help build the best practices for modern reporting and analytics that empowers different stakeholders to measure business performance and make decisions based on automated dashboards and insights.
How You Will Make An Impact:
Your role will be to –
(60%) Tableau Dashboard design, building and automation
- Design, development, testing and deployment of Tableau Dashboards
- Work under the guidance of Data Science and Analytics director to create BI dashboard solutions
- Structure ambiguous business problems and recommend visualization solutions
- Leverage advanced Tableau functionality (parameters, actions, tooltip modifications, API, etc.) to create analytical dashboards.
- Develop a strong understanding of business requirements; working with business users/ business analysts to define technical and process requirements
- Enhance existing reporting tools on an on-going basis to accommodate evolving business needs.
- Build effective working relationships with team members
(25%) Customer Analytics
- Provide insights through data analysis and reporting that aids decision making: gather requirements, create and analyze reports, and translate into actionable recommendations and strategies
- Support analysis of marketing campaigns through customer segmentation and profiling, design of experiment, and data mining
- Generate and analyze reports designed to optimize operational process and execution insights
- Monitor and analyze key metrics; use available data sources to deep dive and troubleshoot KPI metrics
(15%) Advanced Analytics
- Design and develop algorithms and models to use against large datasets to create visualizations and business insights
- Key contributor in all predictive analytics and data modeling efforts, including building models
- Work closely with CSI team members and Milestone leadership to provide BI Input on Service Delivery.
- Spot potential to implement innovative new methodologies and improve analytic processes
What You Will Need To Succeed:
Essential requirements:
- Experience in developing and maintaining complex tableau dashboards
- Strong quantitative skills coupled with business foundation
- Efficiently use large databases and external data sources
- Expert knowledge in large scale information retrieval and statistical analysis
- Working knowledge of relational databases and systems processing
- Data Visualizations and presentations in actionable and useful ways to allow business owners to make decisions
- Able to manage multiple analysis and requests at once. Able to flex to handle dashboard requests, Ad-hoc, quick turn report requests.
Core Skills:
- SQL experience
- Experience in developing and maintaining complex tableau dashboards
- Experience with general reporting and database query tools such as SQL
- Experience developing and presenting recommendations based on data analysis
- Experience working with Tableau Prep, Alteryx or related data aggregation tool
