Job Location: Milford, MA

Milton CAT is seeking a Data & Analytics Analyst to join our team. Our Data & Analytics Team is working to mainstream the use of data throughout the Milton CAT organization. If selected, you’ll work within the Data & Analytics Team with a focus on reporting and process opportunities within the Parts/Supply Chain and Service segments of the business. This position will work closely with leadership to prioritize opportunities based on their impact to the business and develop, implement, and maintain solutions that meet the needs of stakeholders. Knowledge of large equipment parts and service business will be a strong asset. The ideal candidate will be data driven idea-generator…curious, interested, eager learner that is not afraid to ask questions and challenge current processes, ideas and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an intimate understanding of Milton CAT’s data.
  • Work closely with Parts and Service to evaluate and prioritize data & analytics opportunities across the business.
  • Capture, analyze and document business and user requirements.
  • Create, implement, and maintain data solutions in Power BI and other data software that are actionable and meet business requirements.
  • Provide business recommendations and analysis to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Act as a thought leader to shape and influence the metrics and KPIs for an assigned business area.
  • Recognize opportunities for more efficient and effective data solutions that can improve business performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Data & Analytics, Accounting, Information Systems or related field.
  • 3 -5 years related experience required, ideally as a Data Analyst or Project Manager.
  • Advanced experience with Power BI and other data analysis tools required.
  • Knowledge of large equipment industry is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excited to learn new technologies and analytical methodologies relating to business intelligence and data analysis.
  • Demonstrated aptitude to quickly learn business processes.
  • Excellent documentation, organizational, communication skills.
  • Proficient use of laptop and mobile technology with advanced utilization of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work with users at all levels within the organization.
  • Occasional travel within New England and Upstate New York will be required.
