Job Location: Bangalore/Bengaluru
The Senior Business Analyst will report to the Chief Technology Officer and work closely with the Chief Content Officer to translate the platform business requirements to technical requirements. The technical requirements documents will be the blueprint the software developers follow while building out this web platform that will help millions tackle the problem of addiction and providing an ecosystem with all of the connections, information and resources they need as they journey through recovery.
• Understanding and mastering the market/business goals of All Sober’s mission and assist in translating those goals into technical requirements
• Translating business requirements into specific technical requirements to be shared with the development teams both on-shore and off-shore
• Driving software requirements definition and design of features to technical specifications for a positive digital experience
• Developing an understanding of the internal customers goals and effectively articulating their pain points, desires, and needs through requirements templates (Business Requirements Documents or BRDs)
• Planning and defining software requirements, through design and implementation, to final delivery and iterations.
• Translating internal and external users’ goals and articulate software features based on those goals.
• Crafting technical requirements leading to a strong application/platform experience for users and ensuring they evolve to meet their needs and All Sober’s business goals
• Building out requirements for both web and mobile services.
• Working closely with Developers and Engineers in relaying technical requirements.
Requirements and Qualifications
• 8+ years of Business Analysis experience with consumer-facing web applications
• 4+ Years of Business Analysis experience with SaaS
• Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Marketing or Technology-related field
• Experience building software requirements for B2B and B2C applications
• In-depth understanding of the Social Media industry and related tools; previous experience translating requirements for Social Media functionality is a big Plus!
• Experience working directly with Development Leads and Software Engineers in relaying requirements and the ability to communicate requirements clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience working with on-shore and off-shore technical resources
• Familiar with Agile Scrum Methodology
• Previous exposure working in a Start-Up environment
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft-based solutions and tools (including Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Teams)
• History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
• Detail-oriented, with excellent analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
