Job Summary:
To understand the data science and model development requirements for building, a scalable data analytics platform, on Insights as a Service model. The platform will be used to provide an end-to-end solution, by ingesting data sources (structure and unstructured) provided by the client, harmonising it, creating necessary data marts, with will use AI/ML techniques to generate insights and recommendation to address identified use cases.
This role demands to design and develop AI solutions including data and model pipelines to address business challenges.
Responsibilities: (Functional)
- Experience of Social Media Analytics techniques like Social Media Listening, Text Analytics
- Coordinate in the discovery phase discussions with Data Scientists/ Business Analysts /product managers to understand the problem statements / new feature requests
- Worked in Scaled Agile environment and aware of MLOPs development practices.
- Lead the execution / productionisation of the models by collaborating with the product / engineering team (End-to-End execution flow to release the model)
- Collaborate with data engineers to build data and model pipelines and develop minimum viable products based on ML / AI
- Lead / participate in company’s data science communities and make significant contributions towards knowledge exchange
- Ability to understand the company’s data proprietary and principles
- Research improvements to machine-learning algorithms
- Train machine-learning based software for domain-specific tasks (Image recognition, object detection, Natural Language Understanding, etc)
- Proficient in reading, understanding and implementing AI research papers
- Ability to understand, contextualise and adopt latest research to address business problems
- Able to gather the requirements and propose ML operations stages for discovery, MVP and production versions for the agreed solution
- Design NLP applications
- Select appropriate annotated datasets for Supervised Learning methods
- Use effective text representations to transform natural language into useful features
- Find and implement the right algorithms and tools for NLP tasks
- Develop NLP systems according to requirements
- Train the developed model and run evaluation experiments
- Perform statistical analysis of results and refine models
- Extend ML libraries and frameworks to apply in NLP tasks
- Worked in Scaled Agile environment and aware of MLOPs development practices.
(Technical)
Proven experience as an NLP Engineer or similar role
Understanding of NLP techniques for text representation, semantic extraction techniques, data structures and modelling
Good mathematical skills, to perform computations and work with AI/ML algorithms
Demonstrate end-to-end understanding of applications (including, but not limited to, the machine learning algorithms) being created
Understand and use computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, computability and complexity and computer architecture
Build algorithms based on deep learning / ML and maintain scalable machine learning solutions in production
Expert in implementing and adopting latest research and understanding of AI concepts / principles / tools & tech
Proficient in python and libraries for ML/DL
Sound understanding of ML lifecycle
Good Knowledge in ML platform / Frameworks / libraries for the development ( PyTorch /Keras etc.)
