Job Summary
The Junior Business Analyst/Workfront will help mold our internal business product, initiate projects, and coordinate product development for business units within MJH Life Sciences. We are looking for a self-starter who has clear communication skills with the ability to solve problems creatively.
Responsibilities
- Develop product requirements, user stories and feature requirements, to maintain the product backlog in close collaboration with tech, product management, partner success and business leaders. Prioritize features and define feature scope for a given release; make appropriate tradeoffs weighing feature benefit and best use of resources
- Recalibrate internal processes, policies, and templates relative to platform iterations; and ensure a healthy and collaborative relationship
- Build consensus for the product / project vision amongst teams and across business units
- Work with the operations team to identify process improvements and overall needs and integrations
- Work with the operations team, technology team, as well across business units to define, design and rollout new tools and processes to improve the efficiency and quality of operations
- Responsible for timeliness, adoption, and effectiveness of such tools
- Assume responsibility for project tasks and ensure they’re completed in a timely fashion
Other Responsibilities
- Support the team’s backlog in a timely and organized fashion while maintaining clear and quick communication with primary contacts
- Work with the Project Manager and Product Owner to implementation and configure system changes in Workfront enterprise level PaaS tool
Job Requirements
- BA/BS in Business
- 1-3 years of business analyst experience
- 1-2 Adobe Workfront (or similar project management tool) experience
- Project management experience preferred (agile methodologies preferred)
- Excellent communication skills, with experience communicating across groups with varying degree of technical background
- Very strong change management and documentation skills
- Organized: Must be able to manage to deadlines and prioritize daily, weekly, and monthly tasks
- Detail-Oriented: Accuracy and attention to detail is very important in this position
