Description: Marsh McLennan is seeking candidates for the following position in our Mumbai office: HR Data and Reporting Analyst
What you can expect:
This role will be an integral part of the Human Resources team at Marsh McLennan. You will have two core responsibilities: 1) reporting and analytics tasks related to the Marsh Opex Transformation, and 2) business as usual reporting and analytics tasks in support of Marsh Global Operations. You will be a part of a multiple-person HR team and take direction from 1 primary manager, with support and direction from other team members in India, US, London and elsewhere. You will also work with the Financial Planning & Analysis team which relies on HR data to forecast headcount trends and identify past colleague movement in and out of the organization.

We’ll count on you to:
Use HRIS platforms to extract reports, analyze employee data, identify trends and provide insights in the form of Excel files and PowerPoint slides.
Perform regular audits of data in HRIS system (Workday).
Lead data collection and data management processes to ensure that data is available in the appropriate format to meet the needs of the business.
Consult and partner with other HR Centers of Excellence on HR data that may be needed for analysis and collaboration by senior management.
Support HR Leaders with executive monthly reporting using dashboards that are already built.
What you need to have:
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Microsoft Excel expert-level knowledge. Common tasks will require filtering, VLOOKUP formulas and pivot tables. PowerBI user experience is a plus. You will not be required to create PowerBI dashboard, but will be expected to use web-based dashboard that are already built to extract data and investigate trends. HRIS/WorkDay experience a plus. You must be able to learn to pull Workday reports and analyze large datasets in Excel. VBA knowledge is not required.
Basic knowledge of PowerPoint will be helpful when preparing analyses for other HR colleagues.
Availability to work from approximately 12:00pm until 9:00pm Mumbai time, Monday-Friday.
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 2-4 years of work experience required. Human resources or project management experience preferred.
Basic project management skills are a plus. Time management and organization are critical.
Strong written / verbal communication skills.
