Job Location: Gurgaon
Role/Responsibilities
- Design and develop workflows and datasets in Alteryx to be used by the BI Reporting tool
- Write complex Alteryx workflows and contribute to building data models for analytics purposes
- Developing visual, interactive reports using Tableau, Power BI, and other business intelligence tools for effective prediction and understanding of data analysis trends and creating automated data analysis workflows using Alteryx designer.
- Prepare technical specifications and documentation for Alteryx workflows supporting BI reports
- Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with Power BI (Desktop and Service), Power Query and DAX
- Create dashboards and interactive visual reports using Power BI. Experience in working in on all types of data connection i.e. Import, Direct query & Live connections.
- Perform complex DAX queries and functions in Power BI
- Implemented static & Dynamic Role Based Security (RLS) with AD integration as part of security in Power BI
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI scripts and Alteryx workflows and perform detailed analytics
- Actively participate as a member of a team, providing support to team members and fostering a team environment.
- Regularly meet with other data analysts to help with Alteryx issues, and recommend best practices from both a technical and process perspective as related to Tableau development
- Participate in Agile scrum teams and contribute to project planning and work prioritization
- Master’s degree, MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
- 3+ years of hands-on work experience on Alteryx which includes Alteryx Workflow Development including macro and app development experience.
- Hands-on skills and experience in Alteryx Designer, Alteryx Server, and the tools with Alteryx such as Predictive, Parsing, and Transforms. Candidate with Alteryx core and advanced certification will be a great addition
- Experience of working on Power BI Service for Gateways & workspaces management with respective data sets
- Strong database skills; knowledge of SQL, MS Access, Tableau will be preferred.
- Should be able to understand business requirements and transform raw data into meaningful insights
- Should have excellent verbal and writing skills, project and time management skills, ability to work in teams and attention to detail.
- Self-starter who understands what needs to be done and is capable managing their own tasks
- Ability to work in a self-directed and independent manner
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong experience working in Agile environments
