Role mission MORE is expanding Data Analytics and Technology division – a unit that centrally runs the group and our client MIS analytics and business solutions. This is a great opportunity to be working within a global advertising and communication group with a cross-functional team that liaisons with business to support them in their Analytics and Business Insight generation.
The role involves connecting with business leads and clients across the globe to assist them in analysing their data from a business standpoint and delivering insights recommendations based on the observations. About the Data team: MORE houses a central Data team who delve into client MIS and finance information and up-keeping client dashboards for quick run-through. The team is currently expanding to include Business Analysts to take their data representations and partner clients/ business units to drive Insights and recommendations.
Responsibilities
Liaising and Reporting Performing requirements analysis and presenting the insights Review client data, analysing the information and putting together a report Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements
Plan control tasks and time allocation for each of the business units aligned with you Data Management Act as a bridge between the client needs and the data analytics team. Be able to guide and provide improvement insights to the data team Worked with the data analytics division to update the client MIS dashboards and provide better solutions while working with product limitations Understand our data structure and tools well to guide the client and data team through optimization.
Flag irregularities in data to the team Customer Relationship Be a client partner and assist the business unit with insights. Develop and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and by building up trust between yourself and the client contacts Be proactive and therefore anticipate and rectify delivery or data issues at the outset before they become a problem. Identify, manage, and always mitigate risks Leadership Be the unit expert and leader. Train provide mentorship where needed. Work collaboratively, motivate, and encourage the closest and wider teams ensuring all team members remain focused on delivering the best work possible and feel supported in doing so. Skills required
5-7+ years experience in business analytics and insights. Exposure or experience as a Business Analyst would be a value add. Bachelor s degree in business management or related field or an MBA Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills Competent user of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint with a strong focus on advanced excel and PowerPoint skills. Familiarity in statistical models visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau/Zoho) would be good to have and an added advantage.
Good understanding of business operations with a focus on finance optimization, business operations. Exposure to Risk Management, Project Management and Financial Management would be an added advantage. Practical knowledge of SRUM and SPRINT methodology would be good to have
