ROLE: Jr. Database Developer
LOCATION: Mumbai (WFH / Remote till further notice)
ROLE MISSION
Working in a fast-paced scale up environment, you will work as Jr. Database Developer with global team and work on projects focused on database development.
THIS ROLE IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF…
We are looking for a database developer who has very good Postgres experience as well some DBA skills. Other Database and development languages would be advantageous.

WHAT YOU WILL YOU BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE:
· Assess requirements with architectural team and write new SQL reports for our MI Datawarehouse
· Manage the data warehouse integrity and performance
· Manage the export of data to our online BI Tool – Zoho
· Manage the Zoho “workspaces” and create templated reports for others to use
· Manage all automated reports via Navicat scheduler
· Manage all automated reports via the command line PGClimb tool
· Be part of the team who take bespoke report requests and assess viability and if needed schedule development
· Help debug data issues in the MI
· Help manage reports for our global Portal – OMG (also Postgres)
· Manage reports/dashboards for OMG delivered via Metabase reporting tool
· Help debug data issues in OMG on the production system
· Help manage the export of data from OMG to the data warehouse
WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCESSFUL
· Excellent Postgres SQL skills
· Experience in MySql
· Experience in another developer language
· Experience of Git
· Experience of Perl advantageous
· Proven understanding of Relational models
· Understanding and experience of performance management in Postgres
· Experience of managing data in a live production system, with the relevant due diligence processes
