Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team in Mumbai. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or professionals with up to 2 years of experience who possess a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering and an MBA. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting complex data to support business decision-making and optimize our processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources to provide actionable insights and support business strategies.
2. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor business performance.
3. Conduct statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in data to support business objectives.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to understand data needs and deliver relevant solutions.
5. Utilize data visualization tools to present findings in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders.
6. Assist in the development and implementation of data-driven strategies to improve operational efficiency and drive business growth.
7. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and business intelligence.
8. Support ad-hoc data requests and provide analytical support for various projects and initiatives.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering (B.Tech) and an MBA from a reputable institution.
2. 0-2 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related fields.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
4. Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Excel, SQL, R, Python, or similar.
5. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
7. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
9. Knowledge of statistical methods and techniques is a plus.
10. Understanding of business processes and operations in the chemical industry is an advantage.
