Team: The ESG Research team is responsible for delivering Sustainalytics’ suite of strategically important ESG research and data products which includes ESG risk ratings, climate and impact solutions, and sustainable finance solutions. Alongside producing high-quality research content, the team is also responsible for continuously developing new research products, providing meaningful insights that help our clients in their investment decisions.
Role: In this role, you will be part of the Continuous Improvement Team, operating within the Continuous Improvement and Operations Division of the Climate Solutions Research Unit.
You will work with the Continuous Improvement Manager, as well as with other research managers and key stakeholders from other research departments and ICT. In this role, you will coordinate the improvement of team processes, implement strategic projects (including technology-based initiatives) within the department, and analyze and report on key performance indicators. The role is ideally positioned to support innovation and improvement within the department and incorporates tasks such as data analysis, technology testing, and support for technology adoption for the purpose of improving process efficiency, project management.
Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of continuous improvement projects and of the department’s project portfolio;
- Provide business analysis for improvement projects (including technology-based projects);
- Participate in or coordinate user acceptance tests for the team’s technical platforms;
- Liaise with stakeholders from the research and ICT departments and lead improvement projects related to the smart technologies the team is applying in the research process;
- Develop data reports/ dashboards reflecting the team’s main operations.
Qualifications
- 3-5+ Years of experience in the areas of Business Analysis, Consulting, Continuous Improvement, and/or Quality Management
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline;
- High analytical skills and creative, problem-solving attitude;
- Well organized with the ability to work cross-functionally with ease and manage competing interests;
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Technical skills:
- Proficiency with Excel;
- Data analysis skills.
- Experience in data analysis and visualization using Power BI or Python;
- Experience in statistical analysis; experience in working with databases (SQL) – opportunity to further improve such skills within the role;
