Job Location: Bangalore/Bengaluru

As a Business Systems Analyst with business acumen and technical skills, you are the main connection between your Finance business users and the various technical teams required to deliver innovative solutions.  As an Oracle EBS/ Cloud Functional Analyst, you’ll understand the current business processes and use your ability and expertise to recommend business and technology transformation from Oracle E Business suite to Oracle Fusion cloud. You will partner with your finance business community to understand the end to end business process, elicit business requirements and apply your knowledge of Oracle EBS and Oracle Cloud applications,  and other technologies to implement solutions.

Basic Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of demonstrated functional experience in Oracle R12 EBS or Oracle Cloud applications
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Minimum 1 implementation in Oracle eBusiness Suite financial modules with supply chain integration and 1 implementation in Oracle Cloud financial modules
  • Ability to build relationships, influence key decision-makers, and collaborate on a cross-functional team comprised of diverse personalities, skill sets, and levels of experience
  • Able to work independently and work closely with different key finance business partners
  • Excellent communication skills, detail oriented and a self-starter 

Scope of Responsibilities / Expectations

  • Work with Finance business partners to understand their requirements, develop and implement creative solutions in Oracle ERP
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT/Business teams (e.g. Application teams, Program Managers, IT partners (onsite/ offshore), QA, Third-party vendors) to understand business requirements, estimate efforts and design solutions specially in Oracle financial e-business suite & Oracle Cloud applications through Agile/ Devops process
  • Configure/ support Oracle Cloud Revenue management, Advanced collections, Receivables and design upstream/ downstream integrations with Oracle E business suite/ legacy applications
  • Evaluate short and long-term trade-offs for complex business problems and recommend scalable solutions that can be implemented in a hybrid ERP environment
  • Support Finance business unit user community in streamlining Accounts Receivables processes and systems. 
  • Create/maintain functional specification documents, review technical specification documents, oracle standard/ custom configurations documents, rollout strategies, end to end business flows, test scenarios and perform/ support end to end testing for business partners

Desired Background/Knowledge/Skills

  • Hands on experience in Oracle EBS R12 and Cloud Financial modules specially in revenue management, account receivables, subledger accounting, accounting hub and related integration upstream/ downstream touchpoint applications 
  • Good understanding of accounting, billing and collection processes
  • Able to interact with finance business partners in business terms, drive the adoption of industry standard processes, generate new ideas and translate that for technical teams
  • Ability to work in multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
