Job Objectives:
- The candidate must have hands-on Technical lead experience in developing Power BI reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI v13.0 or later
- Should have worked on multiple Power BI development projects
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts
- Good understanding of data modeling concepts. Ability to understand business processes from a data model
- Peer review the code, design, test support, etc.,
- Helping develop reports and analysis for internal stakeholders and clients.
- Providing technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing, data modeling and data enrichment techniques.
- Knowledge of Data Modelling and integrating Power BI Report into the Web.
- Analyses problems and determines Root Cause Analysis.
- Perform extensive data validation/quality assurance analysis within large datasets.
- Utilize strong Microsoft Excel, Power BI and SQL skills in order to provide high-quality data analysis and support to clients, internal stakeholders and select media outlets
- Manage and respond to inquiries from clients and internal colleagues regarding data requests and reports.
Your Background:
- 0-1 years of experience in Power BI development, SQL and knowledge about SQL Server Databases systems.
- Should be able to design, implement, and manage Databases.
- Interact with the database and design the ETL pipeline using python.
- Developing experience in Python
- Candidate with a Good Electrical Technical background will be preferred (Electric assets like Transformer, Motor, Generator, and Chillers).
- Passionate about learning new tools and technologies (like Azure).
- Fluent/Intermediate English (both written and spoken).
- Development and maintenance of BI Dashboards in Power BI (e.g. dashboards, dynamic reports, automatic send-outs).
- Good technical background is preferred.
- Development of ETL processes handling both structured and unstructured data Information engineering and data modeling.
- Working closely and directly with business stakeholders Specification:
- A university graduate degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Engineering or similar).
- A passion for both business and numbers.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in version control using git.
- Data visualization using Python, and R will be preferred.
- Database Management and experience working on SQL and MongoDB.
- Getting familiar with complex calculations, performing data analysis, and operational analysis.
- Proactively identifying and developing solutions within Business Requirements.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical details to business.
- Demonstrating new solutions and concepts to the team.
- Analyzing and identifying gaps and areas for improvement.
