The Opportunity:
The Business Analyst role is a key part of MRI’s Global Strategy & Operations (GSO) team. As part of Global Strategy & Operations, the Business Analyst will have the ability to be involved in all facets of MRI’s Global Services organization, from system administration and process development to data visualization and the creation of new business offerings.
The Business Analyst is responsible for establishing complex reporting with an understanding of current business metrics and processes. The incumbent will be part of the Global centralized reporting team.
This position will be responsible to support and deliver all aspects of data, reporting, and analytics. This individual will have the opportunity to take on senior-level responsibilities based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with other members of the GSO team to support the development and delivery of key projects in service of the broader Global Services organization.
- Provide ongoing operational support to Global Services teams (Professional Services, Client Support, Managed Services, and Education Services).
- Analyze operational and financial data
- Support reporting development requirements of Global Services organizations
- Create and deliver management dashboards and reports to support oversight of business processes, monitor, and understand performance
- Assist in defining key performance metrics and evaluating the results and trends.
- Perform analysis, identify reporting trends, and provide recommendations to leadership to drive bookings and revenue growth
- Proactively provide insights and analysis to leaders and business partners to help improve their state of the business.
- Identify, monitor, and improve data quality issues
- Research and assist in resolutions and reconcile information with financial results where appropriate
- Investigate data anomalies and segment reporting issues to ensure accurate and timely distribution of reports
Requirements:
- 2 or more years of analysis and/or reporting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or other analytical field
- Experienced in creating dashboards using Power BI
- Experienced in data mapping between Power BI and other systems
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with ERP and CRM’s (Intacct, NetSuite, SFDC, etc.) a plus
- Prior experience in Client Support and/or Support Operations a plus
- Attention to detail and ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and multi-task
- Strong initiative and ability to problem solve
- Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills
- Can work effectively in cross functional teams
