Your Team responsibilities –
The Associate within Real Assets Data team will become an expert and champion of MSCI’s Private Real Asset data platform. This includes creating templates, dashboards, visualizations, algorithms and business tools for use across the organization. Your key responsibilities –
- Aid various teams in drawing actionable insights from our data and other sources
- Identify measurable business results and drivers with the goal of using them to improve overall process efficiencies
- Help improve efficiency and effectiveness of data provider interactions (Investment Managers, Brokers), data quality certification and data operations;
- Evaluating various third party sources for integration feasibility
- Be integral to the overall data lifecycle – including but not limited to the evaluation, acquisition, integration, deployment, usage and optimization of various data flows
Your skills and experience that will help you excel –
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics or a related discipline is preferred
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing and analyzing large datasets in Microsoft Excel, SQL, Python, R, SAS, and Tableau or other BI and/or data visualization tools is greatly preferred.
- Prior experience in data linkage and the demonstrated ability to understand and articulate the mechanics of data linkage.
- Has owned or supported a data based initiatives and products
- The ideal applicant is well-organized, exceptionally detail-orientated, resourceful, comfortable working independently, and has an analytical mindset with a curiosity for commercial real estate
- Experience with the Agile Development process will be a plus
