Roles and Responsibilities
- Create and develop revenue strategies in conjunction with the price sensitivity of the customer and the business deal entered with the supplier. Revenue projects are driven by customized market-based matrices on APAC, EMEA, and NA
- Competitor analysis; yield management; business mix; pricing control and new pricing concepts.
- Study and evaluate various pricing options. Defining and driving pricing strategies to increase top-line growth of the company
- Provide clarity & direction in the net margin and associated transactional costs
- To identify areas & prevent errors that are resulting in Revenue Loss for the company.
- To identify areas & prevent leakages that are impacting the companys costs.
- Proactively design appropriate systems, controls & improve processes that impact the revenues & cost structure of the company.
- Development of Revenue Assurance Dashboard & Metrics.
- Drive targets with Business teams and help them with gap analysis and improvement plans.
- Cost savings: Work closely with the operation managers to drive down inefficient costs and optimize for steady-state costing. Also setting up necessary processes & control for achieving sustainable optimal cost.
- Facilitate financial review meetings with business groups and work with business managers to ensure effective finance and cost management – Recommendations based on data analysis and follow through with business leaders on actionable items for improving metrics
- Perform financial reporting, ad-hoc business analyses, and financial modeling. Manage the financial planning and analysis effort, using the key input levers to the business. Preparation of MIS reports for the management involved in strategic business decisions. Development of advanced financial data models for key business strategies.
- Automation of reporting and familiarity with Business Intelligence tools.
- Identifying cost optimization opportunities and implementing process and product improvement plans
Desired Candidate Profile
- 1-3 Years of experience post qualification
- Masters in Business (MBA) Finance/Strategy or CA is preferred.
- The candidate should be hands-on with quants and data crunching skills especially with MS office suite/Python/R
- Knowledge of SQL is preferred
- Knowledge of descriptive, predictive & prescriptive data analysis modeling techniques
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams
- Candidates from Airline, Travel, and E-Commerce industries with a Revenue Management background would be preferred.
- Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports.
- Self-starter who can take ownership of deliverables with minimal direction and develop new ways of approaching business problems.
