Position Summary:
The Digital Strategy & Analytics intern will perform competitive analysis against content performance across digital platforms. Perform DTC industry research. Analyze content consumption data and pull reporting particular to requests from around the organization. Develop data dashboards in Tableau or PowerBI. Project manage key content initiatives and research during the offseason. This position is part of a growing Digital Content Strategy & Business Intelligence team whose mission is to provide data-backed direction on how the NBA can best exploit content in pursuit of its business goals.In this specific role, your responsibility will be to analyze digital content data and deliver reporting and insights that inform how the NBA adapts its ever-evolving Next Gen direct-to-consumer strategy. Success in the role requires a keen ability to connect dots and close the gap between research and actionable insights.
Major Responsibility:
Research and analyze NBA’s content performance with a specific emphasis on the NBA’s DTC platforms Identify and communicate key insights to the Content publishing teams to optimize NBA’s owned content performance across site, app and connected devices Must also be able to translate these same complex insights to leadership in a clear and concise manner Develop statistical models and data-based frameworks to measure the impact of non-live game content on acquisition and retention within our DTC products Partner with data strategy teams on development of automated content performance dashboards within Tableau and Power BI.
Required Skills/Knowledge: Data, Business Analytics, Business Strategy, Graphic Design, Data Visualization, Tableau, PowerBI, SQL.
Education:
Rising Junior or Senior in undergraduate program.
