What you’ll do

As a Lead IT Business Analyst, you’ll gather, analyze, document, and manage business and user requirements. You’ll use your exceptional skills and experience leading the following key initiatives:

  • Identify potential solutions for the business and provide input to issues or risks.
  • Identify project interdependencies and communicate requirement/scope issues and participate in solving them.
  • Lead other business analysts and other resources
  • Demonstrate clear capability to document the current vs future process flows.
  • Complete all support documentation on assigned projects.
  • Lead User Acceptance/End-to-end testing to execute


What you’ll need

  • Lots of enthusiasm
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information systems, Engineering, or similar discipline; or equivalent work experience
  • The ability to understand and interpret technical design, architecture, and solutions
  • Relevant experience as a Senior Business Analyst
  • Demonstrated experience in business and functional requirements elicitation, translation, and documentation.
  • Experience in facilitating design and use case discussions
  • Experience in a Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) environment within waterfall and agile
  • Working knowledge of Agile tools like JIRA, Mural, Confluence, and E-hub

It would be awesome if you had

  • Experience in working in the Utility domain within a project setting.
  • Functional knowledge of asset and work management, document management, mapping & imaging, gas leak, paving, permits, tracking management, gas work methods etc.
  • The ability to identify patterns, potential issues and then translate those into functional and test requirements.
  • An understanding of business functional areas and management issues as well as the IT organizations systems and capabilities.
  • Experience in MSOffice, Visio

Salary

$110,000 – $135,000 a year

Please be advised that due to the nature of this position, incumbents are subject to federal Drug & Alcohol safety regulations governing US Department of Transportation (DOT) covered positions, including the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Pipeline Hazardous Material Safety Administration (PHMSA). As such, the Company’s testing programs and policies regarding the use of federally prohibited drugs or alcohol, for recreational or medical purposes, will remain in effect for these safety-sensitive, DOT covered positions.

This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
