Job Purpose
This role supports performance management for the New England (NE)Jurisdiction which will enable the NE business to meet its objectives (e.g. Clean Energy transition, Delivering efficiently for customers;) in support of National Grid’s Strategic Priorities.
The role is responsible for data collection, analysis, and reporting across all business segments. The senior analyst will produce and communicate management information to enable leaders to drive regional performance and address business issues. The senior analyst will play a key role in developing and executing initiatives focused on efficient and accurate data collection and reporting of metrics/KPIs in the form of scorecards and dashboards.
Key Accountabilities
- Collaborate
o Work closely with teams across all business functions and Executive leadership.
o Coordinate with NY and UK counterparts and other stakeholders to align performance metrics and report formats. Work with stakeholders to establish methods and processes for data collection; efficient and accurate reporting and related capabilities.
- Manage key information to support performance management:
o Develop and maintain centralized reporting platform for Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data collection, retention, trend analysis used to produce performance reporting results via dashboards and scorecards.
o Analyze performance results and initiate appropriate escalations and remediation efforts.
o Document changes to KPI results in narrative form to provide transparency to the reasons; planned remediations and projected outcomes.
- Report Results:
o Produce accurate and timely reports to meet the established reporting requirements.
o Compile materials suitable for Executive/Group level reporting.
o Facilitate and/or support facilitation of monthly performance meetings.
o Provide additional support to Massachusetts leadership, as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3+ years of related work experience
- Self-starter with strong computer, data visualization and data set skills
- Proficient in Power BI, MS Access, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Tableau
- Effective communicator, able to work well and influence in a collaborative manner
- Detail-oriented and well organized to prioritize work and manage deadlines
- Demonstrated approach in stakeholder engagement

$88K – $103K a year
