Basic Purpose
The Summer Associate Graduate Intern will work as a member of the Marketing BI Data Visualization & Analytics team – a diverse group of analysts focused on understanding each member through a unified marketing channel approach. Our group strives to meet the member where they are through clear communication, coordinated messaging, and in-depth analysis, specifically through the development, maintenance, and management of visualization tools.
The team collaborates closely with various departments across the organization to ensure BI visualizations and reports tell a data driven story where the underlying structure is scalable and repeatable. It will be essential for the team member in this position be a strong data storyteller and a quick learner who is able to stay current on new tools and methodologies for producing graphical representations, reports, and dashboards using real-time analytics and large and complex datasets.
The Summer Associate Graduate Intern Program is a 10+ week graduate internship program beginning in May 2023 and ending in August 2023. The intention of this program is to hire graduate interns who prove their aptitude into full time roles following graduation. To qualify for this position, applicants must be currently pursuing a graduate or PhD level degree from an accredited college or university with an anticipated graduation date of December 2023 or later.
Responsibilities
The Summer Associate will work on a 10-week project such as developing new use cases for tools or features associated with data visualization, supporting, and expanding Marketing operating procedures, exploring enhancements for existing marketing automation tools, and/or advising on new marketing personalization strategies.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a graduate or PhD level degree in Marketing Analytics, Business Analytics, or other related degree
- Familiarity with SQL or other data management & extraction tools
- Managing and designing reporting via data visualization tools (preferably Tableau and/or PowerBI), including generating data from single or multiple systems
- Understanding of Agile and/or dashboard development cycles
- Experience with process management and process automation (Excel, Databases, etc.)
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders (direct team, business unit, and/or cross-department)
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent presentation and story-telling skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Understanding of general marketing concepts, measurement, and tracking
- Basic knowledge of financial services
- Experience developing business process, definitions, KPIs, and/or optimization
- Strong analytical skills with experience creating reports and analyses
- High level proficiency with Microsoft Office

The number of days reporting on-site will ultimately be determined by the employee’s leadership and business unit needs. You will learn more throughout the hiring and on boarding process.
Salary Range: $41.00 – $46.00 hourly
