What you’ll be doing:
Working closely with our data engineering team to build a robust suite of libraries and
pipelines for extracting and manipulating data.
Performing statistical analysis of data
Designing data schemas, dictionaries, taxonomies on structured and unstructured data sets
spanning across academic publishing domain.
Monitoring data quality and removing corrupt data
Connecting and analysing various data sources, transforming data for
Reporting/Visualizations.
Identify predictors and causes of business-related problems and implement best standards
related to next best action.
Create utilities and business rules for data quality assurance and data sanity checks
Communicating project goals and inspiring the team to achieve results
Effective due diligence process in terms of the intake activities and communication.
Develop dashboards and reports using SQL, DAX, MDX within Power BI or other
Dashboarding tools
Information Classification: General
What we’re looking for:
A minimum hand-on experience of 1+ years on data analyst or equivalent role.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Hands-on experience with implementation of data aspects around integrity, security and
governance.
Automation first principle minded individual.
Good understanding of Cloud Technologies – AWS is a preferred.
Fluent in Data warehousing concepts and ETL capabilities
Industry experience in Spark, Hadoop is an added advantage.
A good hands-on experience in ETL and Visualization tools (Preferred PowerBI)
Preferred to have hands-on experience with both SQL degree and other no-SQL databases.
Good Communication Skills required.
