Job Detail:
We are currently seeking a Lead, Data Integration (Lead Data Architect) who will be responsible for designing, building, and managing business-critical data integrations. This includes collaborating with business leaders and business systems implementation partners to define requirements for near-real time and batch data integration needs, working within IT to design and building data integrations that align with data architecture best practices.
This role will work across key functions including but not limited to: IT, Compliance, Commercial, R&D, Finance, and HR. You will also act as a strategic partner to help establish best-in-class data capabilities and drive organizational effectiveness through data.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, Implement, and Maintain Data Analytics environments by working with our implementation partners and managed services providers (MSPs) with a focus on data integration. Ensuring all necessary data attributes are integrated between various systems correctly and are available for consumption
- Own design of data architecture for data analytics as well as data integration between various business applications
- Lead implementation of Enterprise Data Integration Hub to stage, conform, and integrate all of the enterprise data
- Define standards for documentation and technical implementation of data models, data standards, data exchange thru APIs and batch, etc.
- Provide oversight and guidance on data architecture and integration guidance to implementation partners/vendors to enable storage and retrieval of data in the most efficient way
- Collaborate across business functions to develop high quality effective analytic support and insightful KPI delivery
- Ensure adherence to data integration best practices and standards, review and approve technical deliverables from implementation partners and MSPs
- Oversee management of key external vendor relationships
REQUIREMENTS
- BA or BS with a minimum of 12 years of relevant data architecture, business intelligence, data analytics experience with tools/platforms like Informatica IICS, AWS (Redshift, S3, RDS), Python, Snowflake, Informatica MDM, etc.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of Data Integration, Data Governance, Data Standards, MDM methodologies are must; preferably using Informatica toolset
- Experience in designing and developing data ingestion, and processing through reporting layer within a data warehouse on Redshift / AWS, and Snowflake platform
- Demonstrated proficiency in supporting the development of complex dashboards in business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense)
- Experience with SQL, Veeva CRM, Salesforce Health Cloud, NetSuite ERP
- Experience analyzing and visualizing data from a broad range of commercial data sources (specialty pharmacy dispense/status data, specialty distributor data, patient services data, payer claims/formulary status data, CRM data, etc.)
- Advanced knowledge & application of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills-able to explain complex concepts clearly to a variety of audiences
- Must thrive working in a fast-paced, innovative environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to develop important relationships with key stakeholders, good conflict management and negotiation skills
- Global experience and pharmaceutical/life science experience are pluses
- Ability to travel as needed
