Role Overview
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for leveraging sophisticated analytics and statistical modeling to drive strong performance improvements across a broad range of business functions. This individual will be capable of providing thought leadership when approaching complex optimization problems. He/she will also be proficient in developing predictive marketing models, experimental design, advanced data mining and customer segmentation methodologies.

Reporting directly to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, All Financial Analysts (FP&A) will interact in a professional manner by proactively establishing and maintaining effective working team relationships with internal and external customers. This includes NEST Team Members, NEST of Florida Team Members, 20 Digits Technology team members, Independent Service Providers (ISPs), and Clients. The primary interaction points with customers will be phone calls, emails, text and instant messages.
We’re seeking a Financial Analyst who demonstrates strong communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and prioritize their work, understand financial concepts and be able to work in a high-paced environment.
Role Specifics
More specifically, your key job tasks will be to:
Essential Duties (Primary Responsibilities) include the following.
- Weekly/Monthly reporting for specific client accounts, including variance analysis
- Reporting and analysis on client performance
- Client review on expense vs capital programs
- Client margin analysis and recommendations for improvement
- Client trend reporting
- Company monthly sales and margin forecasting, including variance analysis
- Client quarterly business review reporting
- Operational trends and analytics
- Assist CFO in preparing client annual budgets
- Assist CFO in preparing and reviewing new client RFP’s and client annual budgets
- Proactively develop reports and analysis of data within work order system to create standards, benchmarks and qualitative data across customer and service segments to include observations and business context to deliver actionable insights to business, not just data.
- Prepare operational, financial, client reports and KPI dashboards such reports should include business context and insights into the data to be delivered to the business leads.
- Propose potential improvements in the processes and methodologies used for analytics by developing and enforcing a standard for statistical/analytical approaches.
- Guarantee the ongoing quality of existing operating and output metrics measured, including their correlation with short-term and long-term business performance.
- Create custom queries to pull data from our Data Warehouse to develop advanced analytics reporting and answer deeper business questions.
- Establish relationships internally as a trusted resource and provider of key business data, analytics, and insight.

- Assist the Management in building models that optimize supply and demand in real-time.
- Assist the sales team in developing forecasting and pricing models.
- Ability to integrate multiple streams of data into coherent models
- Ability to conceptualize, analyze and explain complex and abstract problems
- Manage multiple data providers as necessary.
- Pull performance data and formulate reports

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of five years prior experience in an analytics role or in a similar position.
Specialized Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Intelligence
Experience in service, management, or retail industry preferred
