As part of the Business Analytics Team, this position will support Nestle Health Science with accurate, timely, and actionable insights and reporting, focusing primarily on analysis and reporting for the Medical Nutrition Sales team. This individual will help provide prescriptive and descriptive analysis to assist the corporate and sales teams in driving both short and long-term business strategies.

Major Responsibilities:

Sales Analysis and Support

  • Modeling and analysis of sales data to support key strategic initiatives
  • Analysis of business and market trends at varying levels
  • Ad hoc channel and/or customer analysis to support sales teams
  • Develop standardized reviews to process and analyze historical performance, as well as, identify opportunities to increase profitable sales
  • Develop and maintain sophisticated tools for analysis for complex go to market business strategies
  • Analytical support for creation of strategic plans
  • Sales modeling and analysis to help support strategic initiatives
  • Forward looking trend analysis
  • Power BI report development and training report users how to navigate reports

Management Reporting Analysis

  • Assist BI Data Analysis Sr. Manager in communicating to senior management key trends and performance indicators

Key Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required In The Job)

  • Technical Skills: able to manipulate and interpret large amounts of data from multiple sources
  • Analytical Skills: ability to leverage internal and external data to create descriptive and predictive solutions for key business initiatives
  • Communication Skills: must have advanced writing and communication skills and be able to interact with all levels of the organization as well as actively participate in cross-functional discussions. Ability to put analysis in the appropriate business context and be able to influence organization through findings
  • Drive for Results: sets high goals for personal accomplishment and meets or exceeds those goals

Qualifications (Include Academic Background, Years Industry Experience)

  • Degree in business, analytics, or data science preferred
  • Required: 3– 5 years corporate experience in data analysis/analytics
  • Strong analytical and data management abilities

Tools:

  • Experience using Power BI or similar data visualization tool preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
  • Familiarity with SQL preferred
