Position Summary
Nestle Coffee Partners is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to contribute to our success by leading the development, implementation, and training of reporting for our foodservice business. This role requires an individual to develop data visualizations in an accurate and aesthetically pleasing manner and to have sound knowledge and experience in data modeling and database management. This individual acts as the in-house data visualization expert through advanced use of Power BI tools and is responsible for aligning with key cross-functional leaders and fellow team members to convert data into actionable insights. This role also leads the team’s capabilities by teaching best practices on data visualization techniques
Responsibilities:
- Owns and develops Power BI reporting for all business units integrating KPI’s across each business unit to align with organizations key areas of focus.
- Fosters team collaboration, acts as lead point of contact for the development and coordination of Food Service Reporting and sales data
- Directs IT on the enhancements and fixes of the data lake/databases
- Train users on reports and dashboards
- Pull ad hoc data for users and provide recommendation on best uses of the data
- Develops and gains alignment on enhanced visualization content that is in line with industry best practices and ease of user adoption to convey the story inside the data.
- Extracts data from various databases; performs exploratory data analysis, cleanses, massages, and aggregates data.
- Understands, creates and optimizes data tables and databases using tools like SQL
- Constantly iterates on current reporting to support stronger analytics and visualizations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Systems or related field
- Experience extracting data from SAP BW
- Project Management skills or experience
- 18 months+ experience in sales reporting and analytics
- Strong interpersonal skills to work with users to gather enhancements for improved reporting
- Advanced experience with MS Excel, Tableau or Power BI, writing SQL or Azure queries
