Responsibilities
As a python backend developer, you would:

  • Build products that operate at scale, with low latency while delivering high throughput under high load/volume.
  • Build tools/framework to improve data-mining, training, and validation of in-house deep-learning/machine-learning features.
  • Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance.
  • Apply secure programming and product security concepts.
  • Apply enterprise design patterns and OOP concepts.
  • Be self-driven and demonstrate the ability to derive results with limited supervision.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions.

Requirements

  • 3-8 years of related work experience.
  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Strong fundamentals in Computer Science โ€“ particularly in OOP, algorithms, and data structures.
  • Basic understanding of probability, machine-learning, and deep-learning concepts.
  • Good understanding of internals and schema design for various data stores (RDBMS and NoSQL).
  • Good linux fundamentals and grasp of concepts like virtualenv, docker etc.
  • Expertise in at least one popular Python web-framework (like Django or Flask) is a plus.
  • Exposure to AWS services like Kinesis, SQS, ASG etc is a plus.

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s or masterโ€™s degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering field from a reputed university.
