    Job Location: Mumbai

    Machine Learning Solutions lead will be responsible for designing and developing machine learning and deep learning systems according to business requirements.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB :

    – Applying data mining and statistical analysis techniques like hypothesis testing, segmentation and modelling to analyze large amounts of data

    – Ability to work with structured and unstructured data sets and building out predictive models

    – Building and applying data analysis algorithms (data mining, statistics, machine learning, natural language processing, sentiment analysis, text mining, etc.) as appropriate

    – Designing, architecting and developing solutions leveraging bigdata technology (OpenSource, Hortonworks, AWS or Microsoft) to ingest, process and analyse large, disparate datasets

    – Designing machine learning systems/applications

    – Researching and implementing appropriate ML algorithms and tools

    – Developing machine learning applications according to requirements

    – Running machine learning tests and experiments

    – Performing statistical analysis and fine-tuning using test results

    – Training and retrain systems when necessary

    – Clearly communicating findings, recommendations and opportunities to improve data systems and solutions

    – Demonstrating deep understanding of and ability to teach data science,concepts, tools, features, functions and benefits of different approaches to apply them

    – Seeking out information to learn about emerging methodologies and technologies

    – Looking for opportunities for improving methods and outcomes

    – Collaborating, influencing and building consensus through constructive relationships and effective listening

    – Solving problems by incorporating data into decision making

    – Study and transform data science prototypes

    – Keep abreast of developments in the field maintaining effective and consistent communication within the team, with peers, the leadership team and the peers in other IT groups

    – Producing high quality deliverable in accordance with the project timeline

    – Familiarity with Agile development methodology.

    OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES / SUPPORTING ACTIONS :

    – Providing formal and informal coaching on-the-job to develop the team in data analysis and machine learning

    – Supporting the development of innovative solutions and responding to client RFP’s on digital / emerging technologies

    Responsibilities, Qualifications, Certifications – External

    ANALYTICAL/DECISION MAKING RESPONSIBILITIES :

    – Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills

    – Ability to convert business and technical requirements into an appropriate technical solution

    – Takes accountability for quality technical deliverable to agreed schedule and estimates

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

    TECHNICAL SKILLS :

    – At least 3 years hands-on experience with data science, big data, machine learning and data engineering

    – Extensive experience connecting to various data sources and structures: APIs, NoSQL, RDBMS, Hadoop, S3, Blob Storage etc.

    – Deep understanding of statistical modeling as well as ETL, data ingestion/cleansing and engineering skills

    – Hands-on experience with various big data technologies in one or more ecosystems (Hadoop, AWS or Microsoft)

    – SQL, Hive, Pig are required

    – Experience using data mining and statistical tools R or SAS, Python, Java/C# and Scala

    – Must have worked with multiple tools/libraries such as Weka, NumPy, PyMongo, R,etc.

    – Experience using Machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, NaiveBayes, decisiontrees, SVM, Decision Forests, Linear Regression, Logistic Regression etc.,

    – Experience with data visualization tools, such as D3.js, Power BIetc.,

    – Experience in developing Recommendation engines, scoring systems, A/B testing

    – Exposure to NLP Packages, Speech recognition /identification

    – Experience using Deep learning libraries / frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras etc.,

    – Solid pattern recognition and predictive modelling skills

    – Ability to set up data and experimental plat forms

    – Ability to continuously improve the model with domain knowledge and expert advise

    – Ability to implement the model in business applications

    – Must have hands on experience in Azure MLStudio for constructing and operationalizing Machine learning workflow on Azure

    – Able to delegate when appropriate but leads by example when required

    EDUCATION :

    – B.E/ B.Tech/ MCA/ MS or Equivalent degree

    EXPERIENCE:

    – 10+ years of IT industry experience with at least 3 years with data science, bigdata, machine learning and data engineering

    CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

    – Preferred industry recognized certifications in statistical methods for data science, R, Python, SQL, data mining, machine learning, information visualization, or database management systems.
