We’re looking for a Business Analyst (BA) to support our Global Supply Management group. The BA Will work with internal functional business units to identify, document and implement process improvement initiatives though leveraging technology, people and processes. As part of the Global Systems team you will work with a highly motivated organization that is dedicated to leading Nexteer to the next level of competitiveness and profitability though sourcing excellence.
Job description:
This BA role will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand the current and future business needs and requirements. The BA will be responsible to develop short and long term solutions that support the long term vision of the organization.
Area of responsibilities: The primary focus of this role is on the commercial side of the purchasing organization supporting activities such as Data Analytics, Supplier Selection, APQP, Compliance, eRFQ, Supplier Costing, and Savings initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Developing visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop
- Connecting data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business intelligence
- Analytical thinking for translating data into informative reports and visuals
- Analyze and model current business processes and practices to optimize efficiency and effectiveness to our overall vision and mission
- Evaluate potential technology solutions to support business requirements and present business case to justify new solutions.
- Identify and lead process improvement changes within the organization.
- Software / workflow configuration and testing
- End user support and training
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in IT or Supply Chain
- Open to entry level candidates
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience with report building in Power BI desktop preferred
- Experience with managing/sharing content in the Power BI service preferred
- Experience with Power Query/Pivot tables preferred
- Experience with data modelling preferred
- Dax/Sql/Programming experience preferred
- People skills – Relationship building
- Understanding of systems engineering concepts
- The ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis
- Understanding of Business process management
- Understanding of Process modeling techniques and development methods – BPMN 2.0 (Business process model notation), Agile.
