Position Specific Description
This position reports to the Accounts Payable Manager/Supervisor and responsible for supporting all Accounts Payable activities with focus on Invoice & Payment processing, Back office procedures & reconciliations with a strong understanding of system controls. The ideal candidate should have strong systems & accounting background as well as the ability to communicate with both vendors and personnel effectively. Able to handle daily incoming work requests with focus on urgent and critical items and have the ability to identify, document and roll out process improvement initiatives.
General Areas of responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Invoice & Payment Processing Support
- Support process improvements
- Support and document ReadSoft functionality
- Assist with the Jira Service Desk process
- Maintaining Process documentation
- Special Projects and testing of system enhancements and upgrades
- Support cash room/wires
- Responsible for Ad-hoc Reporting
- SAP Financial knowledge & experience
- Nuclear Asset Management System (NAMS) knowledge & experience
Employees in this role conduct basic operational analyses that support informed decision making within the business unit. Key responsibilities include small to medium special projects, quantitative and qualitative research, process design and modification, and report development. Individuals in this role apply standardized tools and techniques.
