The Analytics Engineer at NexusLeap will be the data pipelining expert with the ability to build resilient and scalable analytics solutions.

At NexusLeap, we set up cloud infrastructure, automate data pipelines, and implement custom data products that immediately impact our clients.
For AI to work, there must be an immense amount of source data that is also accurate, complete, and connective. Therefore, we start by creating end-user tools like dashboards, then move on to pipelining the underlying data powering these data products, and ultimately collaborate on prescriptive solutions that can utilize this data repository.
This compounding building-block approach ensures that we are constantly aligning with our client’s business goals and enhancing their decision-making at every iteration. At the finish line, the entire organization would have navigated the data maturity cycle and will be ready to utilize AI to its full potential.
We are looking for a hardworking, resourceful, and creative engineer to join our NexusLeap team.
The person in this role will be responsible for:
- Meticulously architecting scalable data pipelines across on-premise and cloud data repositories using AWS services
- Using Python and SQL to automate business processes
- Building platform services and client-facing APIs to interact with data stored in AWS and on-premise
You meet the required qualifications if:
- You have an innate curiosity for tinkering with data products and recognize the importance of data storytelling.
- You have deep expertise in python and professional proficiency in SQL. (2+ years)
- You have experience using Infrastructure as Code engines like Terraform and Serverless. (1+ years)
- You have hands-on experience architecting technical systems following best practice system design and integration standards for an enterprise environment. (1+ years)
- You have experience optimizing analytics workloads in AWS using services like Glue, Redshift, Athena, and S3. (2+ years)
- You can easily navigate large datasets (1B+ rows) and have a good handle on distributed computing (PySpark).
- You can move data around using tools Microsoft SSIS or Apache Airflow. (2+ years)
- You have worked with Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) systems. (1+ years)
- You have collaborated with a development team with established source control (git).
- You hold a BS and/or MS degree from an accredited university in one of the following: Computer Science, Information Systems, Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, or related technical field.
You would be a great fit if:
- You are extremely articulate and concise
- You have more than one associate level certification in AWS
- You have experience orchestrating Docker container deployments using Kubernetes
- You have experience supporting dashboards created using tools like PowerBI or Tableau
- You enjoy working at startups and smaller companies but still look for some structure in your day-to-day
- You have worked in a consulting environment but lean more towards product development than billable services
- You take initiative
- You think AI & machine learning is pretty neat
- Proven experience implementing machine learning tools in a production environment
