- Work with engineers to develop or improve algorithmic solutions to computer vision and medical imaging problems for surgical navigation
- Contribute high quality implementations to medical products that are safe and effective
- Support evaluation of algorithms on large datasets
Requirements:
- A passion in turning knowledge to real-life products that benefit the lives of people
- PhD/MS student in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Robotics, Radiology or other related fields. Exceptional undergraduate students will be considered too
- Deep understanding of and hands-on experience in state-of-the-art image processing algorithms
- Solid knowledge of fundamental computer vision concepts including camera calibration, pose estimation and 3d reconstruction.
- Strong implementation skills using Python and C++
- Familiarity with tools such as OpenCV, ITK, and VTK
- Publications in top computer vision venues (eg, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, etc.) is a plus
- Experience working on medical applications is a plus
- Being able to work full-time for at least 3 months; up to 50% time onsite otherwise working from home; summer or rest of the year
Hourly Wage:
- The hourly wage range offered for this position at the start of employment is anticipated to be between $25-$43 per hour
Consistent with applicable laws, an employee’s pay within this range is based on a number of factors which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location. Noah Medical reserves the right to modify this range as needed. Please note that the aforementioned range is only one component of the position’s total compensation package. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonuses, stock and employee benefits including but not limited to PTO, paid holidays, health insurance, dental & vision insurance, life & disability insurance and a 401k plan.
