  • You synthesize business requirements for the development and maintenance of data quality rules for proactive measurement of Wealth Management data. Continuously keeping rules and data relevant and fit for purpose based on current business practice needs
  • You build data quality monitoring and measurement rules examining completeness, validity, uniqueness, reasonability, consistency, accuracy, etc. as it moves from source to various Wealth Management applications and reporting.
  • You collaborate with database developers to implement effective automation processes by developing queries in an SQL platform so data can be mined for quality control and accuracy
  • You perform impact & root cause analysis providing long-term strategic solution recommendations to stakeholders
  • You determine business impact level for data quality issues
  • You’ll identify, compare, and resolve data quality problems in collaboration with Wealth Management Data Operations team (and others) to:
    • Determine scope and complexity of data quality issues and identify steps for correction/prevention.
    • Develop process improvements to improve overall data quality.
    • Develop and execute data cleanup measures.
  • You’ll support data product development for data discovery preload efforts in journey and non-journey related efforts.
  • Maintains a record of original data and corrected data and incorporates this into data quality dashboards.
  • You’ll support and/or build scorecards for data quality dashboards using Power BI.
  • You analyze data quality rule exceptions (failures), draw conclusions based on findings, and clearly summarize complex results in order to facilitate the appropriate next steps.
  • You’ll collaborate with database developers to improve data collection and storage processes.
  • Adheres to best practices in data analysis and collection and keeps abreast of developments and trends in data quality analysis

WHAT YOU BRING

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • 3 – 7 years’ experience in data quality analysis environments/projects
  • Experience with root cause analysis
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent SQL skills
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills

Some efforts in this area will include: Data quality tool development and continuous optimization, dashboard development, data quality rule design and development, and DQ rule exception triage/remediation.
