MAJOR DUTIES
1. Interacts with technology, product management, and operations to understand analyze, interpret and documents business needs into detailed requirements; recommends solutions to reduce costs or improve processes or services.
2. Articulates business and functional requirements by developing specifications for business processing and systems enhancement and development efforts; provides ongoing business and technical support. Assist in the development of training and change management materials.
3. Reviews existing systems, processes, and problems and recommends where system functionality, automation or improved processes can be implemented.
4. Prepares or modifies business requirements to be used for the development of functional and systems specifications.
5. Prepares materials and manuals, and provides training to partners related to system or process changes.
6. Provides business partners with ongoing technical support and acts as a troubleshooter. Conducts feasibility studies, and defines and designs system requirements for complex data processing projects.
7. Partner is expected to generate knowledge about the current business process, design current business flows/requirements, study current business processes and its complication
8. Understanding GFS client’s business pattern and giving valuable suggestion and ideas to Business for cost and resource saving benefit. 9. Mapping and gap analysis is done for each project/assignment.
10. Everything configured has to be documented according to their categories in form of predefined project templates and get the requirement verified with Manager and discussed with impacted areas and take them into confidence.
11. Prepare test scripts for testing the scenarios for each project.
12. Timely updating project status to Manager.
13. Interaction with core team members, end users & other team members
14. When an issue comes to diagnose, analyze and solve it/work with concerned team.
15. Propose and maintain best practice for each projects and ensure even its maintained by Business in production environment.
16. Able to serve as a key subject matter expert down to line.
17. Each deliverables should be measured on estimates and available resources (Business and Technology)
18. Timely communication of project to all stake holders with dashboard/metrics.
OVERALL SKILLED Essential
Must have good / extensive experience on SQL scripting / query writing and understanding of RDBMS.
Any prior experience with BI or Fee billing tool will be advantage for this role (like ‘Oracle Revenue Business Management’ or I Reports / Jasper Studio)
Familiarity with a financial terminology or understanding of Investment instruments and asset management/capital markets terminology would be advantage for this role.
Demonstrate strong analytical and interpersonal skills (Analytical and problem solving skills must)
Shortlisted candidate should have ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders
Ability to work flexibly when dealing with varying client requirements/Projects
Ability to work within a team environment
Elicit and critically evaluate business and technical requirements during client workshops and meeting. Desirable
Eagerness and creative attitude towards improving product offering as well as a desire to identify and implement projects
Ability to quickly understand new systems.
EXPERIENCE
Years working experience: 5+ years Extensive knowledge of SQL / PL SQL is must for this role. Prior experience in Revenue and Expense Management and/or Billing Solutions is preferred Prior experience in Revport (Broadridge/Bonaire) or Jasper Reporting would be advantag
