Job Location: Pune
- The job involves working for an Award winning Global fund administrator, specializing in administering assets of complex hedge funds.
Major Duties
IC Role:
- Set-up and process Cash and Trades transactions of various financial instruments, Including (Not limited to) Equity fixed income, Derivatives like futures, options, swaps, CFD, IRS, CDS, TRS, Private securities.
- Affirmation of Transactions, Trades and Settlements with Investors, Clients/Brokers and Third party service providers etc.
- Accounting, Reconciliations of Cash/Bank, Trades, Settlements, Positions, Incomes and Expenses.
- Calculation of NAVs, RAUM s.
- Prepare/Analyse periodic financial statements, financial highlights, Performance calculations.
- Investor level reporting and support functions.
- Coordinating on Migrations and Projects.
- Proactive issue escalation and Timely resolution of critical queries.
Managerial:
- Responsible for performance management process, hiring, training and development of team.
- Monitor against the Section KPIs, identify process failures and improve quality percentages.
- Ensure consistent best practices and monitor the standards as agreed with the home country teams.
- Produce timely, accurate management information reporting and analysis.
- Conduct, Skip level meetings, one on ones to all in the section.
SKILLS
IC Role:
- Excellent English, grammar, written and oral communication skills.
- Adaptive, flexible, ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Good analytical, numerical and reasoning skills.
- Should be familiar with MS Word & Office tools.
- Strong knowledge of Financial products like Equity, Fixed Income, Various Types of Derivatives.
- Understanding of various Corporate Actions.
In addition knowledge of below will be added plus.,
- Understanding of AML, FATCA, CDOT and CRS tax.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel with VBA.
- Working knowledge of applications like Hydra, Aladdin, Hedge Tek, IRIS and RAD, eGlue, RDB4, Real Time Trade, ERAM, FIS DataNavigator, TriOptima, Bloomberg etc.
Managerial:
- Ability to lead and inspire a team.
- Be able to mentor, coach through confidence.
- Approachable and able to promote teamwork through creative solutions.
- Time management and delegation skills.
Q ualifications:
- Minimum of Bachelor s degree with emphasis in Accounting, Finance or a quantitative discipline. Masters/Professional Qualifications (ACAI, CFA, CPA, ACCA would be an advantage.
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience in Financial Services environment for IC role and, At least 3 years of team leading experience for Team lead and above.
- Experience with Hedge Funds, Investment Management and/or Financial Services strongly preferred.
