Northrop Grumman Space Systems Sector (Payload & Ground Systems Division) is seeking an Associate Pricing Analyst 1 to join the Northrop Grumman Space System Sector, Pricing and Estimating Organization. This position is located in Aurora, CO.
The selected candidate will become part of the sector Pricing and Estimating Group and will be responsible for developmental Space PGS Proposals, of varying degrees and classifications. This position will work closely with Global Supply Chain, Program Management Office, Business Management, Production and DCMA.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Use of industry techniques / practices to conduct fact-finding, data analytics.
- Establish fair and reasonable cost analysis positions and negotiation ranges – including completion of supplier proposal compliance review.
- Comprehensive review of all elements of cost including direct labor, material, Other Direct Cost and indirect costs to ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and Northrop Grumman procedures.
This role will be a key member of large competitive or corporate priority win teams and will act as a key evaluator and developer of winning bids.
In this role, the selected candidate will also be essential in creating automation tools and Agile approaches for the overall Pricing and Estimating team to minimize required administrative tasking and focus on estimating and analysis.
The successful candidate will lead/support proposal activities of diverse and inclusive teams with high levels of engagement and collaboration with other team members.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Demonstrating a broad skill set that is balanced across interpersonal, business, and proposal based capabilities; a commitment to ethics and integrity; and the capability to innovate in a challenging and dynamic environment.
- Develops, plans and schedules proposals.
- Compiles cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications.
- Coordinates the collection and accumulation of cost, scheduling, and performance elements from functional departments.
- Researches and analyzes historical data, develops cost models to support proposal efforts.
- Coordinates activities and participates in fact-finding meetings.
- Participates in should-cost and pricing reviews with management and customer representatives.
- Participates as a member of the contract negotiating team.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or Operations from an accredited university.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the government regulations FAR and DFARS
- Experience working within Proposals
- Active DOD Top Secret Clearance
- Experience working with Basis of Estimate (BOE) and analyzing BOE quality
- Experience with Excel Pivot Tables, VBA coding and Macros
- Experience with parametric modeling (such as SEER-SIM, PRICE True Planning, etc.)
- Proficient in using Pro-Pricer
- Experience conducting cost analysis and risk modeling
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
