Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for an experienced Data Management Analyst to join our Baltimore, MD Mission Systtems team. This position will support the Contractual Data Requirements to deliver key solutions within the Northrop Grumman Corporation Mission Systems Sector and will report to the Configuration Data Management department within SEIT organization.

These Tasks May Include, But Are Not Limited To

The Data Management Analyst is responsible for planning and implementing a comprehensive Data Management (DM) process on programs, in accordance with established Northrop Grumman Mission Systems DM practices and customer requirements. This involves the management of program generated work products. The DM analyst must have experience with program contract review in order to determine documentation requirements for each work product and phase of the project.

  • Program contract review in order to determine documentation requirements for each work product and phase of the project.
  • Establish, maintain and implement standard practices for DM to ensure on-time delivery of contractual data items.
  • Ability to provide for the scheduling, communication of customer data requirements, quality reviews, data status reporting, electronic/non-electronic data delivery, and archiving of Contractual Data Requirements List (CDRL) items (work products).
  • Responsible for coordinating the flow down of CDRL/work product requirements and/or management of receipt of work products to the subcontract supplier through preparation of Subcontractor Data Requirements Lists (SDRLs).
  • Ability to multi-task and work in fast pace environment.
  • Candidates should have a good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and the ability and willingness to learn new software tools.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor degree with 3 years of experience in data management or related discipline (related disciplines include Business Administration, Business Management), Master’s degree with 1 year of experience. Seven (7) years of related experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.

  • Knowledge/experience of program contract review in order to determine documentation requirements for each work product and phase of the project.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, communication, presentation and computer skills required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Access.
  • Experience with SharePoint Administration.
  • Active Secret Clearance

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Salary Range: $65,000 USD – $97,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
