Northrop Grumman Space System’s Program Integration organization is seeking a Business Planning Analyst/Principal Business Analyst to join our team. This position will be located in Roy, UT or Colorado Springs, CO and will support the Sentinel Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
What You’ll Get To Do:
The position will work with IPT leads, Cost Account Managers, and several functional areas to ensure adequate staffing across the program, which includes determination of skills required and determining program financial constraints for each position. The successful candidate duties include, but are not limited to, assessing and monitoring staffing needs across the program, working with stakeholders to develop and open requisitions, monitor progress through onboarding, ensure alignment with both mission and financial needs, ensure compliance with program staffing rules, long range staffing demand, training requirements and monitoring, and associated metrics. This position works across functions to ensure all requirements are met for successful onboarding of candidates, which includes coordination with all stakeholders to ensure budgets, funding, and WBS information is disseminated on or before the start date of each candidate. The successful candidate will assist in operational aspects of ongoing projects. Candidate may also review status of projects and budget, manage schedules and prepare status reports, assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. The selected candidate will also develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with IPT directors, project managers, line managers, and clients.
Essential Responsibilities:

Facilitate internal and external meetings to support the program and represent Resource Access Management.

Develop and deliver high level briefings to Program Leadership and/or customer.

Provide solutions to complex problems that are consistent with the organization’s objectives.

Identify opportunities for change and champion needed changes in the organization.

Process requests for access to P011 and SharePoint access, to include data entry and problem solving as required.

Coordinate Employee Engagement Events and Activities across Sentinel.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Basic Qualifications:
-
Business Planning Analyst level: 3 years with Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, or related discipline or 7 years of experience in lieu of degree; 1 Year with Masters. -
Principal Business Planning Analyst level: 6 years with Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, or related discipline or 10 years of experience in lieu of degree; 4 Year with Masters. -
Proficient with MS Office Products (Word and PowerPoint).

Expertise in Microsoft Excel required.
-
Demonstrated Project Management skills.
-
Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Active Secret Clearance.

Previous experience leading a team in successful completion of projects.

Intermediate to expert in Microsoft Office Suite – Project, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.

Program management, operations or cost estimating experience.
-
Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines.
-
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
-
Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
-
Administrative, Business Management, HR, Recruiting, or Accounting knowledge and experience.

Familiarity with database entry and setup, file and document administration.

Experience with Employee Engagement and planning events.
