Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Software Engineer. This position is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program
What You’ll Get To Do:
The selected applicant will develop software in a dynamic environment using the Agile (Scrum) framework. Experience developing software in the early stages of a project is useful but not required. Experience using design patterns early in projects to develop a strong foundation for the entire product lifecycle is helpful. Experience with the Linux operating system would be extremely beneficial in this role. Applicants should be comfortable working on complex tasks in a team environment.
This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
Job Qualifications:
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

2 Years of experience with Bachelor’s Degree; 0 Years with Masters or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree

Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 5 years.

US Citizenship and ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP)
-
C++ development experience
-
Experience developing software in an Agile environment

Experience with software development using a DevOps pipeline

Modeling and Simulation experience
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

Experience with Embedded systems

Development experience using real-time operating systems

Experience with secure software development such as DO-178C compliant or similar
