SharePoint Online Developer – Global IT

About the department
Global IT India was established in February 2010 as an integral part of Global IT in HQ. From the beginning in 2010, the unit has grown to 500+ employees till date. The main role of Global IT India is to ‘manage’ IT, which includes System Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Management, Compliance Management, Security Management, Process Management and Vendor Management.
The position
As a SharePoint Developer, you will be responsible for Configuring and customizing SharePoint systems according to company specifications, building scalable web applications, writing and modifying code, debugging software, and training staff. You are expected to Manage SharePoint Online (Office 365) Development requests, Configuring, Administration and Deploying solutions.
Responsibilities and Skills :
- Experience developing SharePoint web parts, site templates
- Strong practical experience in the use of PowerShell
- Developing SharePoint sites/pages as per the requirement
- Good front end/CSS skills, integrating SharePoint online with third party applications – using CSOM, JSOM, API etc
- Good Experience in Power apps, Power Automate and other power platforms
- Experience taking requirements and generating designs and implementing a final solution
- Hands on SharePoint Online product experience – configuring, administration, development and deploying solutions
- Strong practical knowledge of SharePoint Search Service, User Profile Service and other Service Applications
Qualification
We would expect you to hold Bachelor or similar graduate degree field in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration combined with additional relevant IT and business experience
- 8+ years of experience into IT industry or equivalent
- 5+ years of expertise as SharePoint Developer
- 5+ years of experience into pharmaceutical industry
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Exceptional communication skills written and oral in English
- Admirable presentation skills
- Ability to collaborate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Capability to represent NN relations with external stakeholders
- Large degree of flexibility and the ability to work under strong time pressure
- High cultural sensitivity and comfortable working with different countries and cultures across multiple time-zones
- Fully independent in day to day work
- Excellent in living the NNWAY
- ITIL foundation or intermediate level certification
- Able to lead the team when required
- Able to innovate within framework to help team and the system
