About the Department
The mission of Global IT Operations, Global IT GBS is to set the strategic and technological direction for the global IT Operations of Novo Nordisk. The unit manage IT services from the end user to the core infrastructure globally. Global IT Operations GBS is located in Bangalore, India.
The Position
As a Business Analyst II -Asset Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
Coordinating maintaining GBS’ device service descriptions, device policies, processes and supporting tools for hardware asset management.
Further, you will need to gather input for forecasting, budgeting, governing, and overseeing the procurement processes, matching budget against actuals.
Last but not least you will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy for Asset life Cycle Management (Forecasting, Procurement, Deployment, Utilization, Maintenance & Disposal) in Service Now & physical validation, as it forms the basis for effectively managing the full asset lifecycle and making well informed decisions under the guidance of the Global Asset Manager.
Qualifications
The below qualifications are required:
- Computer Science Master or bachelor’s degree or comparable degree in IT or relevant field (Software Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration) or Equivalent job experience. Exposure on Service now and asset management.
- 5+ years of IT or professional experience with service management, service delivery and/or operational vendor management.
- 2+ years of experience within the Pharma Industry, combined with general business understanding.
- Should have worked on a Ticketing Tool (Service Now, BMC Remedy, HP service management ticketing tool etc.)
- Expertise in MS Office ( Outlook, Excel & Power Point )
- Experience from working in a large global complex organisation is an advantage.
- Well-structured and organised.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English written and spoken.
- Committed and responsible and business understanding and ability to create results across business functions.
- Quality mind set and strong analytical skills.
- Large degree of flexibility and the ability to work under high time pressure and planning/ Co-ordinating abilities.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate with customers, department assistants across GBS and vendors.
